OUR PHILOSOPHY

We believe in an integrated design process that identifies comprehensive design solutions which reflect the vision and culture of the client’s business. Our collaborative culture gives us the ability to effectively work with clients, architects, and builders to deliver the best possible solutions for the project. Our passion for creating good design brings in innovative, aesthetic, useful, unobtrusive, honest, long lasting and environmentally friendly design solutions.

Our designs are tailored to the clients’ individual requirements that best express them and/or their business. We bring to the interior design industry a unique perspective due to our domestic and international experiences in a variety of practices including residential and commercial design, law, business, and behavioral psychology. Combining our broad experience and expertise, it is our pleasure to deliver design solutions that are diligently carried from concept to execution.

Çigdem Taftali Bulut

Çigdem brings over 25 years of interior design and architectural experience in residential and commercial markets. She has a BFA degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, from Bilkent University in Turkey. Her career began working for architectural firms specializing in hospitality design, resorts and five-star hotels, along the Mediterranean coastline of Turkey. Later she moved to the US to pursue her postgraduate degree in Interior design and received her MA degree from Iowa State University.

Çigdem is an award winning Interior Designer, who has been published nationally. After working as a residential interior designer for 7 years in the US, she decided to give back to her profession and became an Interior Design instructor at West Valley College. As an educator and practicing designer, Çigdem strives to inspire the next generation of designers.

As one of the founding partners of ID2 Concepts, she is going back to her roots, embracing new design challenges and finding passionate solutions that are effective, efficient, aesthetic and, most importantly, sustainable for her clients and for our planet. Çigdem’s passion for design and her willingness to share her knowledge has had an invaluable impact on both students as well as clients. She is a proud member of ASID and IDEC.

Tala Roohparvar

Tala brings years of design and professional staging experience to the team.  She has a B.S. Degree in Human Resources from San Jose State University and a solid educational background in Interior Design from West Valley College.  Her extensive work in mindfulness and cognitive studies, HR experience at high-tech companies and staging for real estate professionals brings a unique and comprehensive understanding of the human factors in relation to interior environments.

Tala strongly believes that feelings and well-being should be addressed, starting with the environments where the user’s most time is spent, whether at work or at home.  She is driven by her passion to create design solutions where comfort, function, and aesthetics co-exist to create conditions to improve the user’s overall well-being and peace of mind.
